We’re thrilled to hear that our fantastic apprentice ambassador, Jo Allen, has made it through to the South East finals for the National Apprenticeship Awards in the intermediate category! Jo works in the Oxford Learning Institute and is completing a business administration Apprenticeship with Abingdon & Witney College.

To get this far is just brilliant, whatever happens next I am really proud of my achievements and thankful to be working in a department that really supports Apprenticeships and values my contributions.

We wish Jo all the luck in the next stage of judging!

12/03/19 - THE 2019 UNIVERSITY APPRENTICESHIPS EXPO AND AWARDS EVENT

On Tuesday 12th March 2019 at the Sheldonian Theatre, we held our Apprenticeship expo and awards ceremony

Recognising the fantastic achievements of our Apprentices and Managers, this year’s event went even further. All of our Apprenticeship Training Providers were on hand to talk about the courses they offer and how these fit into departments so that staff can fulfil their potential. Apprenticeships are a great way to attract new staff from the local community into the University and provide the skills and knowledge needed.

We received a lot of nominations for this year's awards and are so pleased with the level that all of our apprentices are working at.

See below for the list of winners at this year's Apprenticeship event...

See what the winners have to say about their Apprenticeships and receiving their awards on our blog.
